The Church of St. Mark, an Episcopal Church in the Anglican tradition since 1835, offers you a warm welcome. We are located in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, NY; hence it is affectionately referred to as the cathedral on the hill. It is a place from which the light of Christ could be seen from miles around as a beacon of hope. We are committed to be a light in the darkness and the salt in an infected and wounded world. Our doors and hearts are always open to share with you the good gifts and graces of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For the nurture and formation of our children and young adults we have several programs and institutions such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Youth Enrichment Program, Sunday School and St. Mark’s Day School, which is open to children from nursery to eighth (8th) grade. We also gladly care for senior citizens through the Golden Age Club, food pantry and home visitation program. Simply put, various organizations within the Church and School offer opportunities to serve the community.
At St. Mark’s we like to worship God in the beauty of holiness and thank Him for his manifold blessings. You are welcome to participate in the ministry of Christ at St. Mark’s Church and be part of our worship experience. May God richly bless you that you may walk in the light. There is a place at St. Mark’s for you!
